With every hour of the game, I became more and more fascinated with its complexity, with its details, by care and precision it was made with.
Starry nights with moons passing over Bitter Coast, sunsets on dispersed islands of Azura's Coast, rainy days in Vivec, first dawn over the Red Mountain ... It felt like drifting in a dream, and that is why I keep remembering its landscapes long after it was uninstalled. That, or more than 300 hours of playing it.
.... incredibly beautiful design, fascinating atmosphere, magical details both in storyline as in drawing, epics and optimism in characterisation... all of it dedicated to narrate eternall, peacefully passive nature and its silent spirits.
The game loaded and I "opened" my eyes to an entire world.
It was sunrise when I exited the boat, and the water surface glittered like no rendering has glittered before.
covered in forests, where from ages long past dwelt the spirits of the Gods. Back then, man and beast lived in harmony. But as time went by, most of the great forests were destroyed. Those that remained were guarded by gigantic beasts, who owed their allegiance to the Great Forest Spirit. For those were the days of Gods and of Demons. "

... for there was immensity of ideas trapped in concise elegance of his words ... paradoxal questions, paradoxal solving, endings ironical like maze ... mirroring of order and chaos, mirroring of infinity and time ... the Library of his thoughts; fantastic, fictional, imaginary, ideal, algorithmically random, pure like light heading for the prism ...
"Our three-dimensional space is the only true reality we know. The two-dimensional is every bit as fictitious as the four-dimensional, for nothing is flat, not even the most finely polished mirror."
Maurits C. Escher

To look at Escher's artefact means seeing human perception of three-dimensionality.
Self-referring, his drawings imply multi-leveled reality, only distantly intuitive. Incorporation of Mathematics and Irreality, Science and Fiction, they leave no space for comprehensible interpretation but a sense of being trapped in system.

"And I reached the Library and, contemplating its mirror, The Great
Labyrinth, I was left enchanted by it, and its light and desire for it remained in my heart and in my mind forever, and there was anxiety in me which will bring me to the depths of his realm in the end."
